The City of Saskatoon opened its Emergency Operations Centre for the first time this week as flood water from Alberta rushes through the South Saskatchewan River.
The operations room, located in the firehall on Attridge Drive, had never been used prior to the recent opening. It gives city staff and emergency officials a central location to monitor and inform the public of emergency situations...Continue reading...
