Canada is not a country

I want to fly up to northern Manitoba next month to visit my parents. It’s not a long flight; I live in the province next door and with a connection in Winnipeg I can do the trip in an afternoon.

It is expensive though. For the same amount of money I could fly to Peru and back three times and still have change left over for some inflight duty free. I could fly to any state in America, any country in Europe, a dozen cities in Africa, and almost every country in Asia (North Korea and Timor Leste excepted).

I normally just wince and buy the ticket, knowing that this is just the way it is in Canada. But this time I stopped and considered how odd it is that I live in country where it is easier, cheaper and often faster to travel overseas than it is to do so domestically. And once I started pulling on that thread, several other things started to unravel...http://www.macleans.ca/opinion/canada-is-not-a-country/

"Riders On The Storm" by The Doors

They're walking right up to people! - Extraordinary Situation Underway

Last night, into early morning, I took over fifty phone calls, texts and Facebook messages. Most were about weak and dying warblers, robins and woodcocks. Please understand this is an extraordinary situation. More snow and cold temperatures are predicted for Wednesday and Thursday. The birds require your help. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! We are in desperate need of volunteer drivers for this event specifically. Please call 715-623-4015 or leave a message on Facebook if you can help us. Birds are coming from Marshfield, Stevens Point, Pittsville, Adams Friendship, Wausau, Shawano, Marion and all of the surrounding areas.

This is not a normal spring. The birds can deal with some snow and cold, but not deep snow (30 plus inches) and sustained cold. They have slipped into hypothermia, unable to maintain their own body temperature or keep themselves warm any longer. Birds that eat insects cannot find natural food. They are starving...http://www.raptoreducationgroup.org/blog/2018/4/17/alert-bird-emergency

Castles of Eğil, built in 5000 BC, today's Turkey

Egil castle was built by Assyrians in 5000 BC. It has an interesting structure. It was set on a unique rock. It is clear that the castle was very hard to conquer. It was surrounded by walls which have partially survived until today. It was used as a depot and shelter both for soldiers and civilians...http://hiddenandlittleknownplaces.blogspot.ca/2017/01/castles-of-egil-built-in-5000-bc-todays.html

Origins of Antifa: Briefly, what is Antifa and why should anyone care about it?

The Left’s explosive, prolonged rage at the election of President Donald Trump on Nov. 8, 2016, gave new life to the ultra-violent leftist movement known as Antifa.

As a result, Antifa, which has been described as a revolutionary communist-anarchist militia movement that aspires to forcibly overthrow the United States government, is responsible for “a level of sustained political street warfare not seen in the U.S. since the 1960s.”

Reports of Antifa violence are everywhere, which is why the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has quietly designated Antifa as “domestic terrorists.” (Capital Research Center produced a three-part documentary series, America Under Siege, about Antifa and other political actors.)

Antifa is not a single organization: it is a movement or coalition of leftist groups, each of which claims to combat “fascism,” a political ideology whose definition academics have been arguing about for decades. The word Antifa itself is a truncation of anti-fascist...https://capitalresearch.org/article/origins-of-antifa/

Diamonds that fell to Earth came from long-lost planet, researchers say

by Joseph Brean
Astronomer Peter Jenniskens finds a fragment of the Almahata Sitta meteorite, which contains diamonds, on Feb. 28, 2009, in the Nubian desert of Sudan. NASA / SETI / P. Jenniskens

Specks of diamond inside a meteor that fell from space into the Nubian Desert of northern Sudan were formed inside a long-lost planet in the early years of the solar system, according to a new scientific report.

The surprisingly large size of these extraterrestrial gemstones is the first compelling and direct evidence for the mysterious planet that has since disappeared from the solar system, either by colliding and being absorbed into another planet, or being incinerated in the sun, or cast off into outer space...http://thestarphoenix.com/news/world/diamonds-that-fell-to-earth-came-from-long-lost-planet-researchers-say/wcm/e9062f62-482f-4a6b-9ad2-816456cd16c1

Local Farmers Not Panicking Yet As Snow Lingers On Fields

A farmer would be forgiven for feeling frustrated by Old Man Winter’s fingers still grasping Saskatchewan fields.

However, Annaheim and Lake Lenore grain and oilseed farmer Chris Braun isn’t panicking just yet.

“If I got frustrated everytime the weather didn't’ go my way, I’d be pretty frustrated all the time,” he told Bolt FM.

While the snow has buried his equipment, making it hard to get ready for seeding, he points out that no one has ever lost a crop in April.

“If we didn’t get any warm weather melting and it becomes May 1, then plans might change. But for now, everything is steady as she goes. Mother nature always gives us spring, so I’m not too worried yet.”...https://discoverhumboldt.com/local/local-farmers-not-panicking-yet-as-snow-lingers-on-fields

The Illuminati in Saudi Arabia

Skyfloating

In Muslim culture, the symbol of one eye is associated with Satan. As is the Pyramid. Muslims go full-paranoid when they see the one eye or - god forbid - the eye within the Pyramid. Muslim countries have a long tradition of anti-Illuminati conspiracy theories.

It is therefore strange that the most muslim country in the world - Saudi Arabia - openly displays this type of Illuminati symbolism everywhere - in public, in Government Logos, in Buildings and even in their most Holy places Mecca and Medina. It's difficult to reconcile Muslims paranoia about the Illuminati with the rampant symbolism across the country... http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread1203413/pg1

Penguins might just be nature’s most perverted animals

By Susannah Cahalan

Adélie penguinsAFP/Getty Images
They skipped over this fact in “Happy Feet,” but here’s the truth: Some penguins are full-blown sexual psychopaths who engage in prostitution, pedophilia and even necrophilia.

This is one of the many disturbing realities revealed in “The Truth About Animals” (Basic Books) by zoologist and documentary filmmaker Lucy Cooke.

Many findings are cute: Moose get boozed up on fermented fruits; hippos make their own SPF lotion. Others less so — bats engage in oral sex; eels are cannibals; and then there are those pervy penguins.

It’s safe to say you’ll never look at many beasts the same way after reading Cooke’s entertaining new tome. Here are three creatures who get a thorough reexamination, excerpted from her book...https://nypost.com/2018/04/14/penguins-might-just-be-natures-most-perverted-animals/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

Untreated sewage pollutes water across the country

By Ainslie Cruickshank StarMetro Vancouver

In Vancouver, the worst combined sewage outflow point in 2016 spewed untreated wastewater into Vancouver Harbour, near Waterfront Station. (Jennifer Gauthier/For StarMetro)

Nearly 120 million cubic metres of untreated sewage and runoff entered Canadian waterways in 2016, StarMetro has learned.

That’s roughly the same amount of water that roars over the edge of Niagara Falls over the course of 12 hours — except it’s not whitewater spewing from these pipes. It’s murky, brown and a little bit chunky.

Environment Canada provided the 2016 figures, the most recent data available, at StarMetro’s request.

In combined sewer systems, the pipes that carry rainwater runoff also carry sewage from homes and businesses to the treatment plant. During heavy rains, these pipes can end up carrying more wastewater than the plant can handle, so they have overflow points where the wastewater can pour directly into a waterway, like a river or lake. It protects the treatment plant from being overloaded, but it can put human and environmental health at risk.

“Anything that you’re flushing is going directly into the stream or receiving waters,” said Sarah Dorner, a Canada research chair in source water protection.

That means pathogens — bacteria, viruses or other harmful micro-organisms — could end up in waterways used for recreation or even drinking water...https://www.thestar.com/amp/vancouver/2018/04/11/untreated-sewage-pollutes-water-across-the-country.html?__twitter_impression=true

Experience the World's Largest Powwow

Stepping in a clockwise spiral, dancers fill the arena in a colorful swirl of traditional dress. Drum groups sing as they play thunderous rhythms that dancers instinctively anticipate. The ringing of thousands of bells and rattles affixed to dancers accentuate every step. More than 3,000 participants, representing all 565 U.S. and 220 Canada indigenous tribes, enter the Tingley Coliseum at the New Mexico State Fairgrounds. Billed as the largest such event in the world, the powerful Gathering of Nations Powwow in Albuquerque is felt as much as seen and heard, the percussion aligning tens of thousands of heartbeats in the audience during the two day annual event...https://www.nationalgeographic.com/travel/destinations/north-america/united-states/new-mexico/things-to-do-albuquerque-gathering-of-nations-powwow/

End of the line for Quebec caribou herd

...The Quebec government announced this month that it would simply be too expensive to try to save the animals. They had proposed sending the animals to a zoo in 2017, but that was opposed by conservation groups who said the animals likely wouldn’t survive the move and life in captivity.  The zoo at Ste Felicien, also later said they wouldn’t take the caribou, prompting the Quebec government to make its declaration there would be no money spent towards the herd’s survival...http://www.rcinet.ca/en/2018/03/29/end-of-the-line-for-quebec-caribou-herd/

Rare white deer draws visitors to Michigan Park

NTV Online
An all-white deer has become a Michigan park's latest star attraction, as well as a viral star after visitors snapped photos and videos of the unusual animal.

Dave Kirbach, deputy director of the Huron-Clinton Metropark Authority, said the young female deer at Kensington Metropark, near Milford, was first spotted in the spring of 2017 and sightings have increased as the deer has grown older, reports the UPI.

‘We're pretty sure she's a doe. She's a little small, but this is her first year, and she got through the winter just fine,’ Kirbach told The Detroit Free Press.

The deer made viral waves during the weekend when Mick McDonald, 48, and his fiancee, Karen Illinik, captured video of the possible albino deer and posted the footage to Facebook.

‘I hope people see this and appreciate how beautiful this animal is. I hope nobody thinks to hunt it and just stick it on a wall,’ McDonald said...http://en.ntvbd.com/world/offbeat/164385/Rare-white-deer-draws-visitors-to-Michigan-Park

Mind Control Theories and Techniques used by Mass Media

Vigilant Reports

Mass media is the most powerful tool used by the ruling class to manipulate the masses. It shapes and molds opinions and attitudes and defines what is normal and acceptable. This article looks at the workings of mass media through the theories of its major thinkers, its power structure and the techniques it uses, in order to understand its true role in society.

Most of the articles on this site discuss occult symbolism found in objects of popular culture. From these articles arise many legitimate questions relating to the purpose of those symbols and the motivations of those who place them there, but it is impossible for me to provide satisfactory answers to these questions without mentioning many other concepts and facts. This article explores the theoretical and methodological background of the analyses presented on this site as well as introducing the main scholars of the field of mass communications. Some people read my articles and think I’m saying “Lady Gaga wants to control our minds”. That is not the case. She is simply a small part of the huge system that is the mass media...https://vigilantcitizen.com/vigilantreport/mind-control-theories-and-techniques-used-by-mass-media/

An ‘alien intrusion’–a journey to remember

                                                                    iStockphoto
 by

... We have seen strange things in the sky that seemingly defy naturalistic interpretations.
We can add that we oppose mainstream and popular views—arguing that there was no big bang, the universe is not 14 billion years old, older alien life did not evolve on other planets, and no alien life has ever visited Earth. Furthermore, aliens have not stealthily abducted people in the middle of the night—even though millions of people have seen UFOs and have claimed such abduction experiences. This is all part of ‘The UFO phenomenon’... https://creation.com/journey-to-remember
