- It’s in our hands to save the voiceless if we can and make a
difference. Following this motto, a group of Delhi University students
(DU) along with Wildlife Rescue, an organisation dedicated to rescuing
birds in distress rescued 91 birds that were injured and rendered
homeless after a massive dust storm resulted in uprooted trees.
One of the students Abhinav Garg, PHD in Environmental Studies, says, “ It was around 7.30 in the night when I saw the fallen trees after the dust storm. I even got a glimpse of birds stuck under the broken branches. I didn’t know what to do. Then somebody suggested that I take the help of Wildlife Rescue. They reached there and the rescue operation went on till 3 am in the morning.”...http://www.hindustantimes.com/delhi/du-students-with-wildlife-rescue-save-injured-birds/story-Ok6PITBPxPcSsx74n3YHmO.html
