Chickens rounded up after accident.


A collision late Monday ruffled a few feathers.A semi truck carrying a load of chickens left the road and overturned on Highway 16 near Efros.image
The driver of the truck was not seriously injured, but it did not go over easy for his 6,000 passengers.
"So far as I know, some of the chickens were some obviously deceased because of the (incident) and some weren't," Wynyard RCMP Const. Jim Floyd said.
Wynyard RCMP received the report of the collision at 10: 12 p.m. A section of Highway 16 between Highway 35 and Efros was closed during the cleanup.
