Iconic Fashion designer wants to marry his beloved cat

By: David Ross: An elderly iconic fashion designer publicly declared his love for his cat and announced that he wants to marry it.

The 79-year-old Chanel chief is no stranger to controversy, but his latest comments on wanting to marry his pet feline raised more than a few eyebrows.

"I never thought I would fall in love with a cat like this," Karl Lagerfeld said.
His pampered cat, named Choupette, is living a life of luxury, so if it would somehow agree to get married, the cat could not be accused of gold digging.

The cat starred in a series of Lagerfeld’s photo shoots and promotional campaigns, after having been in his care for about a year.
It is currently illegal to marry an animal around the world, with the Chanel chief saying he was disappointed and frustrated about this law. Read here.
