These 8 Images Of The Cosmos Will Stop You In Your Tracks

• Jessica OrwigOn Saturday, Nov. 8 the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania will launch an art exhibition that is out of this world.
  "Starstruck: The Fine Art of Astrophotography" features 100 images by 35 artists from around the world. The photographs capture the beauty of some of the most stunning scenes from and beyond our home planet.
  Each image was carefully selected by a distinguished panel of judges: Weston Naef, the curator emeritus of photography at the J. Paul Getty Museum; Dennis di Cicco, the senior editor of Sky & Telescope magazine; and Jerry T. Bonnell, the co-editor and author of NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day.
  Here's a sneak peak at some of the stunning works of art in this exhibit, which was organized by the Bates College Museum of Art in Maine.
