Canadian lawmakers heard from military top brass who said the country would be extremely vulnerable to such an attack because it lacks the high-tech defence systems used by the US.

Their stark warning comes as Kim Jong-un continues to press ahead with his nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programmes amid fears of World War 3 breaking out on the Korean Peninsula.
And this week, one of the regime’s top diplomats was reported as saying: “Our nuclear response will be directed at the US and won’t target any other country.”
