A Canadian woman climbing Mount Everest said it was “like a morgue”. Sandra Leduc was climbing Everest last weekend when four others died as she gave a chilling description of her own perilous journey, according to a report on CBC.
Sandra Leduc tweeted as another 200 climbers attempted the push to summit the 8,850-metre peak taking advantage of a break in the weather between Friday and Sunday. It turned into rush hour at the top of the world resulting in four climbers dying.
Leduc said there were “lots of dead or dying bodies” in a Twitter post. “Thought I was in a morgue.”...Continue reading...
