By Lori Coolican: An angry Bill Whatcott with spit on his face. The spit came from a supposedly educated adult university student who Whatcott did absolutely nothing to, except respond to his questions.

Standing with two supporters holding up graphic posters of aborted fetuses on the corner of College Drive and Bottomley Avenue Thursday afternoon, he said campus security guards had threatened to arrest him earlier in the day as he tried to distribute his latest pamphlet, entitled “Sodomites and the Supreme Court of Canada.”
Whatcott is attempting to defy a decision released by the Supreme Court of Canada last week, which upheld a Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission ruling that certain pamphlets he distributed in Saskatoon and Regina more than a decade ago incited hatred towards gay people.
He plans to visit campuses in Edmonton and Calgary on Friday and Saturday.
Whatcott said students he encountered in the hallways at the U of S College of Law on Thursday were openly hostile and not interested in discussing his beliefs.
“Universities are supposed to be about academic freedom, academic inquiry, the opportunity to learn. The behaviour at the law school today says that they’re far, far, far below that threshold,” he said...Continue reading...
