Mark McMorris' star shone brighter this past weekend than the primetime TV lights that followed him.
The Regina snowboarder became the first double gold-medal winner at the Winter X Games since Shaun White, an American Olympian, accomplished that feat in 2009.
McMorris, 18, was competing in just his second X Games. He captured the gold medal in the big air event on Friday in Aspen, Colo., and followed that on Saturday with another gold-medal finish in the men's slopestyle snowboarding event...Read here...
