Dozens of RCMP officers surrounded a rural property in central Alberta on Tuesday night after a daylight gun battle that killed one man and sent two Mounties to hospital with bullet wounds.
Though police would not confirm that a man had been killed in the shootout, a source close to the investigation told The Journal that one suspect died in an exchange of gunfire with officers.
