photographer Bill Bouton caught dramatic photos of an enormous humpback
while driving near Port San Luis, Calif. His Flick collection of the
photos has received nearly a quarter million views.
These humpback whales were ready for their closeup.
No sooner did amateur photographer Bill Bouton pull out his camera the attention-craving cetaceans were out of the water and putting on a show.
Bouton was driving towards Port San Luis when he spotted a cloud of birds circling over the ocean.
The retired biology teacher, who specializes in bird pictures, got out of his car and set up his Canon 7D camera.
Within minutes, at least two huge whales burst out of the Pacific, creating an incredible photo op for Bouton.
He also managed to capture some of the human animals who happened to be on hand when the whales appeared out of the blue...Read here...
