Confused Grasshopper

A lesser marsh grasshopper (Chorthippus albomarginatus) perched on top of Devil's bit scabious. It was starting to rain and I think the grasshopper is wiping a raindrop from its head. I am a keen macro photographer and always on the look out for interesting insect images. This would have been a fairly standard portrait but the grasshopper's behaviour gives it that something extra. It being a cool day, the grasshopper allowed me to get quite close and to set up my tripod in front of it. Photos here.
