By G.J. McCarthy / Photographergmccarthy@dallasnews.com: If you’re a fan of the Olympics and good
photography, check out
this public list on Twitter that’s pulling all the posts from some of the many photojournalists covering the
games.
Obviously it’s not everyone, but the list is growing daily, thanks to diligent work by its creator, my amiga
Melissa Lyttle at the
Tampa Bay Times.
It’s a good place to
start
browsing images by photographers, with links back to their respective
news outlets (lots of great slideshows!), personal blogs, and of course,
Instagram feeds.
With regard to the latter, definitely check out that of this blog post’s lead image,
Brian Cassella. I’ve been following his work for a while now, back when he too worked with Lyttle at the
Times. He’s at the
Chicago Tribune
now, and is at Sochi shooting for that publication and the
McClatchy-Tribune wire service. He’s definitely worth following on
Instagram — see that
here.
Anyway, cheers,
- gerry -
